The updated version of the Programme of EULab 2021 is now online!

The updated version of the Programme of EULab 2021 is now online! EULab 2021 will take place from the 9th to the 21st July 2021, both online and in person (Napoli). The main venue will be the University of Napoli Federico II, at via Marina 33, 80134.  The 2021 Young Scholars Workshop will be held at the Institute for Research on Innovation and Services Development of the National Research Council of Italy (IRISS-CNR), at Via Cardinale Guglielmo Sanfelice,  8, 80134.

The deadline for appling to the 2021 EULab Summer School has been postponed to the 25 April 2021!

We inform that the deadline for applying to the 2021 EULab Summer School on Labour Migration in the European Union has been postponed to 25 April 2021. Applicants will be informed of the results of the possible selection by 25 May 2021. Thanks a lot for your understanding.

EULab 2021 launches its photo contest!

The organisers of EULab are pleased to launch its first photo contest on Labour Migration! Photography is a powerful and universal means of communication and the contest aims at sharing the participants’ different perspectives of the challenges faced by third county nationals, and especially by labour migrants, living in the European Union. The contest allows attendees to share their personal views and to express their own perceptions as a way to nurture the debate on issues related to labour migration. Extension of the deadline! Call for papers “Labour Migration in the time of COVID-19: Inequalities and Perspectives for Change”

The deadline to submit abstract for the edited book “Labour Migration in the time of COVID-19: Inequalities and Perspectives for Change” is extended until 15 October 2020. How to apply? Call for papers – Labour Migration in the time of COVID-19: Inequalities and Perspectives for Change

The EULab Summer School invites submissions for an edited book on labour migration in the time of COVID-19: inequalities and perspectives for change. The collective volume intends to analyse the diverse difficulties posed to migrant workers by the current COVID-19 pandemic, and to explore the complex role played by international and EU law in this context. The editors welcome submissions from scholars with an interest in migration studies from a variety of backgrounds, including but not limited to law, international relations and social sciences. Due to current circumstances regarding the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, the first edition of the EULab Summer School has been rescheduled to July 2021. New dates and possible changes of the programme of the first edition of the EULab Summer School will be announced as soon as possible.

Important notice related to Covid-19 – The 2020 EULab Summer School is going to be rescheduled

Due to current circumstances regarding the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, the 2020 Edition of the EULab Summer School is going to be rescheduled. Containment measures adopted at the international, european and national level, alongside the specific regulations adopted by the Dean of Univesity of Naples Federico II, do not allow to hold the EULab Summer School from 7 July 2020 to 16 July 2020, as scheduled. New dates and possible changes of the programme of the first edition of the EULab Summer School will be announced as soon as possible.
