2021 EULab Roundtable
The role of local authorities in the social integration process of labour migrants, with particular reference to agricultural, domestic and care workers

The Roundtable on Labour Migration will be open to the 30 participants of to the Summer School and to 15 external attendees among policy makers, lawyers, NGOs workers and representatives of migrant workers’ communities.
The 30 participants of the EULab Summer School will have the chance to discuss current labour migration issues with policy makers at local, regional and national level, and relevant stakeholders in this field. Such exchange of ideas will be open to the general public as well, raising issues of great importance for the civil society at large.
During days preceding the event, each participant will be invited to submit a short abstract (max 500 words) or a bullet points summary of their intervention, which should address an aspect pertaining the topic of the Roundtable.
Following a general introduction, each participant will have around 10 minutes to express their point of view, in order to allow every attendee to intervene and encourage the follow up dialogue between them as well as with the general public.
The Roundtable will be followed by an informal discussion where participants will have the opportunity to raise questions and issues concerning labour migration that they believe to be pressing or important.
The Roundtable will be held in English.
Participation to the Roundtable on Labour Migration is free and open to the general public. Please, note that seating is limited.
